Ten minutes from the Caribbean and from Gran Cenote, the jungle opens to welcome the house and its guests.
Trees and greenery occupy the center. The washbasins are carved in stone, the roofs are palm thatch, and water runs down a wall into the pool.

A single open space, with a carved timber flower above the headboard and wicker lamps to either side. There are two, each in its own corner of the house.

Two double beds and sliding glass onto the bamboo garden. With a terrace of its own.
Garden Junior Suite with Plunge Pool
A king bed under a brass canopy frame, with a driftwood headboard. And its own plunge pool.
Junior Jungle Suite with Bathtub
A stone bathtub in the open air, facing the jungle through a wall of timber posts. There are four, each named after an animal of the jungle: Tigre, Mariposa, Pato and Garza.
Master Garden Suite
A king bed and a carved timber headboard, facing floor-to-ceiling glass that slides fully open onto the garden. Bathroom with dressing room, and a terrace of its own.
Master Suite with Bathtub
A four-poster bed with white mosquito netting under the palm roof, and its own sitting area.
Three Bedroom Private Pool Villa
Three bedrooms, a living room under a pitched palm roof and its own dining table, with glass onto the jungle on both sides. Heated private pool. The largest in the house, for coming as a group.

Orquidea Restaurant & Pool Bar
Breakfast is served beside the pool, under the palapa roof, with seasonal options such as tropical fruit, toast and coffee, and hot dishes such as green chilaquiles with egg. The menu is written on chalkboards.

What lies around, and how to get there
They are all booked at reception and leave from the house; some are half-day, like the snorkelling at Akumal, and some take a full day, like Chichén Itzá. Because the house is inland, the airport transfer and scooter or ATV rental are arranged here too.
